Challenge
Deployment planning for the maintenance, servicing and repair of wind turbines – particularly in on- and offshore environments – is highly complex. It encompasses:
- multiple deployment sites and weather dependencies
- limited personnel and equipment resources
- complex qualification and certification requirements for technicians
- coordination of logistics, travel and accommodation
The existing Excel-based solution had reached its limits: error-prone, difficult to maintain and not scalable for growing operations.
Our Approach
SWMS Consulting developed a web-based deployment planning application with an intuitive drag-and-drop interface, real-time availability checks and integrated order management. The system was designed for both on- and offshore operations and can be used across multiple locations simultaneously.
