Challenge

In the dynamic world of industrial services, the efficient management and processing of data is a constant challenge. A leading company in this area uses a well-known SaaS online system for the paperless creation and archiving of assembly and maintenance reports. A key challenge was to provide aggregated information on the processing status and open issues during ongoing projects. Previously, this process required laborious manual transfer of data into Excel, which was not only time-consuming but also error-prone.

Proceedure

To overcome this challenge, we have developed a specially designed Excel add-in. The goal was to create a seamless integration between the existing SaaS system and Excel. Our approach was to provide the customer with a set of additional Excel formulas that directly access the SaaS system's API, efficiently aggregating data and presenting it in a user-friendly manner. This solution was implemented by a small but highly specialized team that was able to develop a powerful tool in a very short time.

Result

The result of this project was a significant time and resource saving for our customer. Instead of spending hours manually aggregating data, our add-in now enables fast and error-free data preparation. Our customer's customer now benefits from timely and professionally prepared information on the processing status. This project is a prime example of how technological innovations in data management can not only increase efficiency, but also increase job satisfaction.
